The
Celestial Church of Christ is one spiritual,
worldwide, united indivisible Holy Church. The Church
derives its origination through an amended
Constitution of Celestial Church of Christ, which was
inaugurated on the 29th of March 1980 as “CONSTITUTION
OF CELESTIAL CHURCH OF CHRIST (NIGERIA DIOCESE)” by
the Pastor Prophet and Founder of Celestial Church of
Christ Worldwide, Reverend SAMUEL BILEWU JOSEPH
OSHOFFA of blessed memory, following the registration
of Celestial Church of Christ in the Federal Republic
of Nigeria as “CELESTIAL CHURCH OF CHRIST MAKOKO
VILLAGE YABA” under the Land (Perpetual Succession)
Ordinance CAP 107 of the Laws of the Federal Republic
of Nigeria on the 24th November 1958, Registration
Certificate Number 489.
Though some claimed
that the Church was earlier registered in Republique
du' Benin (Republic of Benin [formerly DAHOMEY]),
what they forgot to realize is that the Founder
himself was the incorporator of "CELESTIAL CHURCH OF
CHRIST MAKOKO VILLAGE YABA", which was never an
amendment to the Benin registration nor a foreign
registration of the Benin incorporation. The Founder,
Reverend SAMUEL BILEWU
JOSEPH OSHOFFA of blessed memory, did not personally
renewed and/or file annual report, which
results to voluntary dissolution of the Benin
registration or should be.
There was no
sanctioned registration of the Church as it should
legally represent the Church Mission as handed down by
the founder, Reverend SAMUEL
BILEWU JOSEPH OSHOFFA of blessed memory, that the
Church shall bear one registration and one
constitution in every countries of the world, until
the registration of the “CONSTITUTION OF CELESTIAL
CHURCH OF CHRIST USA DIOCESE and CCC USA CENTRAL
CONTROL & REGULATORY MISSION, INC.”” in November 2,
1992 document number N92000000088 and later amended as
“CONSTITUTION OF CELESTIAL CHURCH OF CHRIST DIOCESE OF
THE AMERICAS and CCC WORLDWIDE CENTRAL CONTROL &
REGULATORY MISSION, INC.” in June 20th, 2002, document
number 92000000088.
The
United States registration of the Church, which shall
subsequently be registered in every countries of the
world as foreign corporation will establish the
oneness and central registration of the Church
worldwide.
With
the registration of the Nigeria Diocese in force,
there should not have been any one claiming to be a
faction of the Celestial Church of Christ if the
Authority of the Church understands the premises for
which all Churches must operate and be governed. The
lack of knowledge by the Registered Board of Trustees
of the Nigeria Diocese and their immense incompetence
became costly impediment for the unity of the Church
Worldwide. That in itself does not necessarily mean
that there should be factions in the Church, anyone
claiming to be Jesse/Maforikon, Owodunni or Agbaosi
factions or any other faction are doing so out of
ignorance and lack of knowledge, and more so, an enemy
of unity and progress for the Church.
This
raises the question about the move by the USA CCC
Diocese of the Americas’ stepping forward to redirect
the plight of the Church worldwide. The “CONSTITUTION
OF CELESTIAL CHURCH OF CHRIST DIOCESE OF THE AMERICAS
and CCC WORLDWIDE CENTRAL CONTROL & REGULATORY
MISSION, INC.” derives its existence from the
“CONSTITUTION OF CELESTIAL CHURCH OF CHRIST (NIGERIA
DIOCESE)”, the original registration executed by the
Founder, Reverend SAMUEL BILEWU JOSEPH OSHOFFA of
blessed memory. The USA CCC Constitution was duly
executed and signed by Reverend, Pastor Alexander
Abiodun Bada; Reverend, Pastor Phillip Honsu Ajose;
Superior Evangelist Samuel O. Ajanlekoko; Superior
Evangelist Olayinka Afolabi Adefeso; Superior
Evangelist Oluremi Olusoga Ogunlesi; Superior
Evangelist Samson Olatunde Banjo; Superior Evangelist
Solomon Osobukunola Sogbetun and Reverend, Prophet G.
Bolanle Shonekan (Administrator & Supreme Head, CCC
Worldwide).
The
move by Reverend G. Bolanle Shonekan (Administrator &
Supreme Head, CCC Worldwide) in taking over the
responsibility as the prescribed OFFICIAL AUTHORITY of
the Church's worldwide organization and regulatory
concerns, came by way of executing the power so vested
in him by the duly executed
RESOLUTION of the Board, dated June 03, 2002
and re-affirmed by a second
RESOLUTION, dated November 12, 2002 to take
every possible step in moving the Church forward.
Reverend G. Bolanle Shonekan (Administrator & Supreme
Head, CCC Worldwide) will demand a retirement of
Reverend Emmanuel Oshoffa with severance-benefit
package, and have reassigned the responsibility of
Superior Evangelist Olayinka Afolabi Adefeso; Superior
Evangelist Josiah K. Owodunni; Superior Evangelist
Oluremi Olusoga Ogunlesi and Superior Evangelist
Samson Olatunde Banjo as
Ex-Officio Members
of the Board of Trustees, they shall remain within the
context of the responsibilities as to that position.
