On June 12th, 2004, the world witnessed the beginning of
great changes in the Celestial Church of Christ
Worldwide, as Prophet, Reverend G. Bolanle Shonekan was
proclaimed PASTOR & SUPREME EVANGELIST OF CELESTIAL CHURCH
WORLDWIDE by Leaders, Shepherds and Church-workers.
Pastor, Prophet, Reverend G. Bolanle Shonekan, who had
retired the unconstitutionally or neither spiritually
appointed Pastor of Celestial Church of Christ, Superior
Evangelist Emmanuel Beliwu or Emmanuel Oshoffa as he
will now wanted to be called, on December 27th, 2003
through the power so vested in him by
a duly executed
RESOLUTION of the Board, dated June 03, 2002 and
re-affirmed by a second
RESOLUTION, dated November 12, 2002 to take every
possible step in moving the Church forward. Pastor
Shonekan also dissolved the Board of Trustees and the
Pastor-In-Council and elected to be proclaimed Pastor &
Supreme Evangelist of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide
by Leaders, Shepherds and Church-workers in place of the
dissolved Pastor-In-Council.
Pastor, Prophet, Reverend G. Bolanle Shonekan in his
acceptance speech, resolves to announce the retirements
of some Elder Church-Workers, which includes Reverend Benoit
D. Agbaossi, Republic of Benin; Superior Evangelist
Adosu Leyon, Nigeria;

from their position as
Church Workers and from any Official Capacity within the
Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide. And, that any
anointment administered or recommended by any of the above named
Elder Church Workers prior to his proclamation as Pastor of
Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide or thereafter shall be null
and void without prejudice.

And further, that any member so affected by this decision should
seek retribution by submitting name to their respective District
Evangelist who shall make recommendation to the State Evangelist
for proper anointment and/or promotion to an appropriate rank in
the Church.

In respect of unity
and reconciliation amongst the leaders of the Church as it
regards the way forward, His Eminence, Rev. G. Bolanle Shonekan
have in recent days reconsidered the retirements of those elders
herein mentioned and resolved into restructuring of positions of
the Church's higher hierarchies by granting Papa Agbaossi, the
only remaining among the three eldest member of the Church: the
rank of Grand Apostle and Grand Patron of Celestial Church of
Christ Worldwide, while all the individual regional Pastors
appointed by Papa Agbaossi, the self proclaimed Pastors in the
names of Emmanuel Mobiyino Oshoffa, Paul Maforikan, S. E.
Orovboni and Josiah Kayode Owodunni shall be Appstles.
Other positions such as Supreme Evangelists that sounded
meaningless shall be converted to Assistant Apostles for those
duly anointed as such and accepted by Pastor Shonekan.
The Pastor
urge every member to honor and respect the GREAT SERVICES
provided by those elders in the past and future responsibilities
as it may from time to time be expected of them for the
sake of unity and oneness in Celestial Church of
Christ. May GOD bless the Pastor, the Holy Celestial Church of
Christ, Nigeria and the World at large, Amen.
