Justice
reigns in Nigeria
II.....!
Again,
it will not be a surprise to CCC Court Reporter that Nigeria had
came
through for the world to see that true justice prevail.
The Nation's new and emerging leader had proven that once again,
as the Chief Justice of Nigeria,
Honorable Justice Idris L. KUTIGI, GCON
may have been instrumental in the recent changes in the Nigeria
National judicial system.
First
example is the recent change in Ogun State of Nigeria's High
Court (Civil Procedure) Rules 2008, which was made on the 18th
of May, 2008 and in force from the 15th of September, 2008 (click
here to view the amendment cover and dated page or as
attached). Another
example is the benchmark as it was set for the judges of the
nation by the Nigeria National Judicial Council of which
Honorable Justice Idris L. KUTIGI, GCON
is the Chairman. (Click
here to view the national daily newspaper "The
Nations" that published the new benchmark in its October
3rd, 2008 issue and the Chief Justice's response to Pastor
Shonekan's petition of July 22nd, 2008 or as attached).
It may be a coincident that this changes came at this time, and
if it is, then the petition
written by His Eminence, Prophet, Rev. G. Bolanle Shonekan, the
Pastor and Worldwide Head of Celestial Church of Christ, dated
July 22nd 2008 and addressed to the Chief Justice of Nigeria,
Honorable Justice Idris L. KUTIGI, GCON
(Click
here to view the entire petition and exhibits as filed or as
attached)
is of no doubt a perfect coincident.
We
at the CCC Court Reporter and our readers could not be more
pleased than to thank the Honorable
Justice Idris L. KUTIGI, GCON,
Chief Justice of Nigeria and Chairman, NATIONAL JUDICIAL COUNCIL
and the National Judicial Council for the new benchmark as set
for the Nigerian Judges. Long live Nigeria, the
United States of America and world at large.
