CCC News - Court Reporter:

(November 14th 2008)

Victory at last....!  His Eminence, Prophet, Rev. G. Bolanle Shonekan got judgment against the defunct Board of Trustees of Celestial Church of Christ, Nigeria Diocese and Emmanuel Mobiyino Oshoffa/BILEHOU, Emmanuel at the Ogun State High Court, Ilaro, Ogun State, Nigeria.

CCC News: Court Reporter brings you the greatest news yet in Celestial Church as His Eminence, Prophet, Rev. G. Bolanle Shonekan got the long awaited judgment against the defunct registered board of trustees of Celestial Church of Christ (Nigeria Diocese), and Emmanuel Mobiyino Oshoffa (Name on his Nigeria passport) or BILEHOU, Emmanuel (Name on his French passport) on the 14th of November, 2008 at the Ogun State High Court thus as follows:

IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUSTICE, OGUN STATE OF NIGERIA, IN THE AIYETORO JUDICIAL DIVISION, HOLDING AT ILARO BEFORE THE HONORABLE JUSTICE H. O. SOLANKE - JUDGE, ON FRIDAY THE 14TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 2008 (Click here to view the certified true copy of the ruling or as attached) HCL/7/06:

REGISTERED TRUSTEES  OF CELESTIAL CHURCH OF CHRIST, NIGERIA DIOCESE - Plaintiff (Original Case)   - vs -  REV. G. BOLANLE SHONEKAN - Defendant (Original Case)/

REV. G. BOLANLE SHONEKAN - Plaintiff / Counter-Claimant  -  vs  - REGISTERED TRUSTEES  OF CELESTIAL CHURCH OF CHRIST, NIGERIA DIOCESE - 1st Defendant (Counter-Claim) and EMMANUEL MOBIYINO OSHOFFA/BILEHOU EMMANUEL - 2nd Defendant, Joined by Order of Court on the 9th Day of May, 2007 (Counter-Claim).

Claimant absent (Registered Trustees of CCC, Nigeria Diocese)

Defendant present - Original Action (Rev. G. Bolanle Shonekan)

A. O. Dawodu for the 2nd Defendant - Counter-Claim (Emmanuel Oshoffa)

At this stage A. A. Olatunji appear for the Defendant - Original Action / Counter-Claimant (Rev. G. Bolanle Shonekan).

Counsel to the Defendant (Rev. Shonekan) ask for the claim to be struck out due to the absence of the Plaintiff / Claimant - Original Case (Registered Trustees of CCC, Nigeria Diocese) and his Counsel.

Ask to proceed with their (Rev. Shonekan) Counter-Claim.

COURT:

I observe that on the last date, 10/10/08, the Plaintiff / Claimant (Registered Trustees of CCC, Nigeria Diocese) was absent and not represented and the court ordered the filing of their (Trustees) pleadings within thirty (30) days in view of the new rules of court.  However, today again the Claimant (Registered Trustees of CCC, Nigeria Diocese) is absent and unrepresented, and of course, no new pleadings have been filed.  It is in my view therefore, that the Claimant (Registered Trustees of CCC, Nigeria Diocese) is not serious about the prosecution of their suit.  Consequently, the case for the Claimant (Trustees) is hereby struck out.  The Defendant - Original Action / Counter-Claimant (Rev. G. B. Shonekan) is to comply with the new rules and file their pleadings (i. e.: Counter-Claim) a new within thirty (30) days from today.

Case is adjourned to 16/01/2009 for mention.

(Signed):  H.  O.  SOLANLKE  - Judge

The CCC News: Court Reporter found that, with this ruling, the defunct registered board of trustees of Celestial Church of Christ, Nigeria Diocese has lost their chances of challenging the authority of His Eminence, Prophet, Rev. G. Bolanle Shonekan ever; as they have in this case abandoned this trial at it.  Also that they lost the chance to challenge the outcome of any judgment incidental to the Counter-Claim as the Original Case was willfully abandoned, in any Court of Appeal.  Case close... or so to say.

It was learnt that the defunct board of trustees of Celestial Church of Christ, Nigeria Diocese were well convinced that they could have Rev. Shonekan and his Attorney (Lawyer) killed before the court date with voodoo, so they made no plan for the court proceedings.

The defunct board of trustees of Celestial Church of Christ, Nigeria Diocese had on many occasions proudly made mention of their connections and that, there will never be a ruling as of their case against Rev. Shonekan.  Now that there is a ruling against the defunct board of trustees of Celestial Church of Christ, Nigeria Diocese and Emmanuel Mobiyino Oshoffa/BILEHOU, Emmanuel, the CCC News: Court Reporters asked His Eminence, Prophet, Rev. G. Bolanle Shonekan:  What is next....?   Rev. Shonekan replied:  We will proceed with the COUNTER-CLAIM and get permanent injunction against the defunct board of trustees of Celestial Church of Christ, Nigeria Diocese, Emmanuel Mobiyino Oshoffa/BILEHOU, Emmanuel and Senior Evangelist Haastrup, the Doyen; then we will discuss real unification with all parties involved.  That sum it up.....!

The defunct registered board of trustees of Celestial Church of Christ, Nigeria Diocese coined a quick defense to their supporters that they choose to ignored the case at Ilaro because of the July 4th, 2008 ruling at the Federal Court of Appeal, Abuja, Nigeria.  The fact is that Rev. Shonekan had petitioned the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Hon. Justice Idris L. KUTIGI, GCON, Chairman of Nigeria National Judicial Committee to set that ruling aside (Click here to view the Chief Justice response or as attached).  The complete petition was also made available by CCC News: Court Reporter thereafter (Click here to view the complete petition to the CJ of Nigeria or as attached).

Good luck and stay tune.....
