The
facts you need to know about the Court of Appeal ruling.....!
It
is important to see it clearly that the Registered Trustees of
Celestial Church of Christ (Nigeria Diocese) or so to call them
will like all Celestians to be mind numbed and follow them like
robots. While they
have for so many years carry the entire Church for the past
years in believing everything they do including little and big
shenanigans as perpetrated by them on many issues.
They
will now want you to believe that they are on the right path
with how the Church is been lead.
But fact of the matter is that the challenges they are
encountering from His Eminence, Rev. G. Bolanle Shonekan, who
had them on their toes in the courts of law revealed many of
their atrocities. The
Trustees and Emmanuel Mobiyino Oshoffa (Name on his Nigeria
passport) or BILEHOU, Emmanuel (Name on his French passport) has
been misleading unsuspecting members that the recent Court of
Appeal ruling of July 4th, 2008 had sanctioned
Emmanuel’s appointment as Pastor.
Let
us break down the case chronologically.
Trustees surreptitiously instituted an action against
Corporate Affairs Commission in October of 2005 in Federal High
Court, Abuja, Nigeria, after realizing that Rev. Shonekan had
poked holes in the so called duly constituted proclamation
letter of Emmanuel Mobiyino Oshoffa as Pastor of Celestial
Church of Christ. The
proclamation letter carried twenty-three signatures instead of
required twenty-nine to form a quorum of simple majority of
remaining members of Pastor-in-Council, showing that Emmanuel
Mobiyino Oshoffa was not appointed constitutionally if we are to
believe that the amendment of the constitution of Celestial
Church of Christ (Nigeria Diocese), RC. 489 dated 19th
October, 2000, filed on 20th October, 2000 with
Corporate Affairs Commission’s certificate of approval dated
22nd December, 2000 was deemed duly filed and
registered. That
amendment was one of the Trustees’ deceitful acts and abuse of
the rule of law. The
principal signatory to the amendment dated 19th,
filed on 20th October 2000 with the Corporate Affairs
Commission was Papa, Rev. Alexander Abiodun Bada.
If we all remember, Rev. Bada died on September 8th
and buried on September 29th, 2000, he could not have
been back from death to sign the application for amendment.
The
Trustees believed that they could legitimize the Emmanuel
Mobiyino Oshoffa’s appointment as Pastor of Celestial Church
of Christ Worldwide by rushing the registration of Emmanuel’s
name as the Chairman of the Registered Trustees of Celestial
Church of Christ (Nigeria Diocese) with Corporate Affairs
Commission (CAC) the same way they have successfully registered
the unlawful amendment to the constitution in 2000, and
surreptitiously challenged the CAC in Federal High Court, Abuja,
Nigeria and won without the knowledge of any interested parties
on 20th December, 2005.
The
Trustees who now believed that they have succeeded in conning
the Federal Government Agency and the Judicial System into
backing their appointment of Emmanuel Mobiyino Oshoffa (name on
his Nigeria passport), aka: BILEHOU, Emmanuel (name on his
French passport) as the Pastor of Celestial Church of Christ
Worldwide instituted action against Rev. Shonekan in SUIT No. HCL/7/2006
filed IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUSTICE OGUN STATE NIGERIA IN THE
ILARO JUDICIAL DIVISION HOLDEN AT ILARO – REGISTERED TRUSTEES
OF CELESTIAL CHURCH OF CHRIST (NIGERIA DIOCESE), PLAINTIFF vs.
REV. GODWIN BOLANLE SHONEKAN, DEFENDANT BY ORIGINAL ACTION and
REV. GODWIN BOLANLE SHONEKAN, PLAINTIFF BY COUNTER CLAIM vs.
REGISTERED TRUSTEES OF CELESTIAL CHURCH OF CHRIST (NIGERIA
DIOCESE), 1st DEFENDANT; EMMANUEL MOBIYINO OSHOFFA
(Name on his Nigeria Passport) aka: BILEHOU, EMMANUEL (Name on
his French Passport), 2nd DEFENDANT JOINED BY COURT
ORDER ON THE 9th DAY OF MAY, 2007, claiming in
paragraph 9 of the motion as filed that: “the appointment of
Pastor Emmanuel Mobiyino Oshoffa as Pastor of the Celestial
Church of Christ was recently giving judicial backing by the
Federal High Court, Abuja in Suit No. FHC/ABJ/277/2005 – THE
REGISTERED TRUSTEES OF CELESTIAL CHURCH OF CHRIST (NIGERIA
DIOCESE) vs. CORPORATE AFFAIRS COMMISSION on the 20th
day of December 2005. (Click

Chief Justice of Nigeria, Corporate Affairs Commission, Court of
Appeal and the US Ambassador to Nigeria by His Eminence, Rev. G.
Bolanle Shonekan).
The
SUIT No. HCL/7/2006 has been merely abandoned by the Registered
Trustees as we may want to call them for record purposes, since
August of 2007 for lack of substance in responding to the
Counterclaim as filed by the counsel to His Eminence, Rev. G.
Bolanle Shonekan. Registered
Trustees and Emmanuel Oshoffa had only hoped that the Court of
Appeal ruled in their favor against the Corporate Affairs
Commission so they could have ground to respond to the SUIT No.
HCL/7/2006 at Ilaro.
The
Court of Appeal ruling of July 4th, 2008 in APPEAL
No. CA/A/107/2006 – REGISTERED TRUSTEES OF CELESTIAL CHURCH OF
CHRIST (NIGERIA DIOCESE) vs. CORPORATE AFFAIRS COMMISSION was as
it is clearly stated that: “From the foregoing, the
conclusion I have reached is that the Applicant (Senior
Evangelist Lagun Adesanya) equally does not qualify as a
person that has suffered any legal grievance having regard to
the judgment in respect of which he seek for leave to appeal.
The instant application must necessarily fail as I have
earlier found the Applicant (Senior Evangelist Lagun Adesanya)
not qualify as a person interested in the matter on appeal, when
the test as to whether or not he could have been joined as a
party to the suit in the lower court is applied and also that he
does not qualify as a person that has suffered any legal
grievance having regard to the judgment in respect of which he
seeks for leave to appeal”, quote and on quote.
To
simply sum that up, the Court of Appeal ruled against Senior
Evangelist Lagun Adesanya for seeking to be joined as interested
party in the Corporate Affairs Commission’s appeal to the
Federal High Court ruling of 20th December, 2005.
There is nowhere in the APPEAL No. CA/A/107/2006 –
REGISTERED TRUSTEES OF CELESTIAL CHURCH OF CHRIST (NIGERIA
DIOCESE) vs. CORPORATE AFFAIRS COMMISSION ruling of July 4th
2008 throwing out the appeal of the CAC, except that Senior
Evangelist Lagun Adesanya and his likes would not be party to
that appeal, which narrow down the contestants to the issue of
the appeal to His Eminence, Rev. G. Bolanle Shonekan, the
Registered Trustees of Celestial Church of Christ (Nigeria
Dioceses) and Corporate Affairs Commission.
The
two of the three parties involved in this case that have been
duped are the Corporate Affairs Commission and His Eminence,
Rev. G. Bolanle Shonekan. The
Registered Trustees of Celestial Church of Christ (Nigeria
Diocese) had a lot to prove as His Eminence, Rev. G. Bolanle
Shonekan had filed petition with CAC, the Court of Appeal and
Chief Justice of Nigeria in less than twenty-one days of the
ruling of July 4th 2008 (Click
here to view and read the petition and exhibits so attached to
Chief Justice of Nigeria, Corporate Affairs Commission, Court of
Appeal and the US Ambassador to Nigeria by His Eminence, Rev. G.
Bolanle Shonekan).
His
Eminence, Rev. G. Bolanle Shonekan has filed another petition
with the Corporate Affairs Commission dated 28th July
2008 and filed on 29th July, 2008 seeking criminal
investigation into the amendment to constitution of Celestial
Church of Christ (Nigeria Diocese), RC. 489 dated 19th
October, 2000 and filed on 20th October, 2000 (Click
here to view and read the petition and appendixes so attached to
Corporate Affairs Commission and the US Ambassador to Nigeria by
His Eminence, Rev. G. Bolanle Shonekan).
The
Court of Appeal ruling of July 4th, 2008 was kept hush-hush by the
Registered Trustees of Celestial Church of Christ (Nigeria
Diocese) with hope that His
Eminence, Rev. G. Bolanle Shonekan will not know until 28 days
passed so that they can have Emmanuel registered, though the
ruling did not address the registration of Emmanuel as of yet.
The
ingenious and prolific aptitude of the CCC Court Reporter
Investigators alerted His
Eminence, Rev. G. Bolanle Shonekan of the ruling and he spring
into action immediately, damping the illusion of this
unscrupulous element of our society.
The
United States Internal Revenue Services has been duly informed
of Emmanuel Oshoffa's collection of anointment dues and returns
from collaborating Churches in the United States of America and
his coconspirators in the abuse of US IRS Code and none
compliance to His Eminence, Rev. G. Bolanle Shonekan's
Responsibility for Foreign Expenditures, the condition for which
the Church has been granted and issued central 501(c)3, 509(a)1 and 509(a)2
exempt status. They will soon be invited by the US
authorities for questioning.
